Using the site and free tools

The site and the free tools are provided as they are, with no warranty. We try to keep them working and correct, but we can't promise they'll always be available or suit your purpose. Check anything important before you rely on it.

Using the API

The API has rate limits. Please use it fairly: don't hammer it, don't try to get around the limits, and don't use it to harm the service or other people. We may slow or block use that does.

Overscan

Overscan is free, and provided as it is. You can use it on your own PCs. We don't promise it will work with every screen or setup. The full Overscan terms and privacy are on their own page.

Custom work and Inbox Workshop

Custom work and Inbox Workshop setups are agreed per job, in writing. We quote first, and nothing starts until you've said yes to the quote.

What belongs to StarSync

The StarSync name, logo and the content of this site belong to StarSync. Please don't copy them or use them to suggest we're involved with something we're not. Work we build specially for you is covered by what we agree in your quote.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The date at the top shows when they last changed. If a change matters, we'll say so on the site.
